As a kid, I felt pure joy and creativity while capturing the world through my camera. I loved having my friends and family model for me, and for years, I embraced my role as the "family photographer," documenting every special moment in our lives. I especially love the old black and white photos from the early days with my film camera.

In 2008, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a photographer in preschools. It was hard work but so much fun! As I developed my skills, I started photographing other families and turned my passion into a full-time business. My first wedding in 2009 hooked me instantly!

Living in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan, surrounded by the Great Lakes, sand dunes, and endless nature, inspires my photography. It’s a dream location for destination weddings, and in 2019, I captured my maximum of 29 weddings in one season.
