Kylie + Scott | Elk Rapids Engagement

I’m always ready to explore new places, so when Kylie & Scott suggested Elk Rapids for their engagement session, I was excited for a new adventure! It is a special place for the two of them and had it all – cute little town, a white bridge, colorful trees, a marina, and a beach. We even took photos at their secret bench hidden among the trees with a view of the bay.

We had so much fun walking around the area and getting to know each other. I loved hearing the story of how when Scott and Kylie met in Grand Rapids in 2014 they quickly went from strangers to being a happy couple. While on vacation in Florida, Scott surprised Kylie with a proposal while sitting in the sand watching the wildlife and waves. She said it felt like the world stopped for a long moment and she instantly started crying tears of joy.

The windy, chilly day of their engagement session magically turned to beautiful sunshine and felt like a big warm hug wrapped around these two and their love. So excited for your wedding day on the beautiful Old Mission Peninsula next summer – congratulations Kylie & Scott!
